EMS Foundation Welcome to the EMS Foundation Website. We are pleased to provide you more information on the ems foundation, programs events and ways you can help the foundation. Check out the events area to find out what is coming up. Find out what programs we have on the go and acknowledge our sponsors who are crucial to us. We couldn’t exist without them. The Emergency Medical Services Foundation (EMSF) is a registered charity, separate from Calgary Emergency Medical Services (EMS). Funds raised by the Foundation through the generosity of our donors do not replace EMS’s core funding, but rather enhance safety and illness prevention and advance paramedical research, practice and training. Specifically, funds raised through the Foundation support education, injury prevention, research and equipment.
